Character & Meta Human Design and Animation (1/2 Day – AM)

Imagine film, game or digital characters that will blow your minds, digital stand-ins on the latest virtual production sets that will hold up to a close-up shot, virtual participants in immersive training scenarios that are more believable than ever before: the possibilities for creators are limitless.
In this lesson, you will learn about three-dimensional character animation, you will concept, create, customize, export, and animate a fully rigged metahuman using the latest tools, providing unprecedented standard of quality, fidelity, and realism. You will get to grips with a range of required software and understand the features that help bring your character to life. You will stretch and inflate, shrink, and rotate, and sculpt the fine details to bring it to life. Then grab a 3D capture, animate it or take away short video bringing it into the real world.
Requirements
- Suitable for ages 9 – 16 years old
- No programming or experience using 3D creation tools needed
- This lesson is suitable for those with limited experience using a PC
- We will provide you with everything you need for the course
What kind of experience will the course provide
- Understand what 3D is and how it related to industry and characters.
- Understand Metahuman Creator and Quixel Bridge
- Understand how to concept, launch, setup, and configuration characters
- Understand how to export and apply basic animation to 3D Character
- Understand, use, and manipulate the character features
